Clinical History
55 year old female with several month history of painful ulcers in the vestibule and buccal mucosa. Patient denies any significant medical history.

Clinical Features
- Affect any portion of the GI tract
- When fully developed, CD is characterized by skip lesions
- sharp demarcation of diseased bowel segments from adjacent uninvolved bowel
- Non-caseating granuloma in 40%-60% of cases
- The absence of granulomas does not preclude a diagnosis of CD
- Fissuring with formation of fistula
